New and really nice. My wife got a Cesar salad and the mamas lasagna, which was huge. I got the Pasta Woozie and it was a lot less food. Both of our meals were good but a little over priced for average Italian food. All in all nice place for a date night.

We went to take advantage of a Wednesday martini happy hour. We all had a great time. The every day happy hour food menu though not large, is pretty varied. Portions of this tasty food are of a good size and the price isn't. The martinis are likewise...and the do not water down the drinks. I just wish they had this every night. One needs to be in the seemingly too small bar area to take advantage of this. The service was great. We were seated at the bar and wanted a table, which were all full. All we needed to do was mention this to the staff. It was not long before we had a booth. We were well taken care of in both places. Since the restaurant is fairly new, it still had it's new car feel to it. Nice, Italianesque decor.

Well.....not quite "bravo"....yet.....at least in our experience in our first visit. Another look at a Cuccina Italiana cookbook may remedy the situation. You cannot go wrong with bread and olive oil but that is about the last tasty food we had there. I have a feeling that they will improve in service and food quality in due time. I will save my "bravo" for the next visit....I hope it is not mere wishful thinking on my part. As it stands now I would place it three levels below Olive Garden, but with much higher prices.

We went opening weekend knowing that things could be a little shaky. But our reservation was honored within 15 minutes and the service was friendly. We had a few service issues, but both the server and managers apologized like they meant it. I think a lot of free desserts went out, but they also adjusted our check, so they made every effort to please us, which they did. The food was delicious, the room is very comfortable and the staff was friendly. I'll give them a couple of more weeks to hit their stride, but for sure will go back!

I'm really impressed with Bravo!, especially knowing that this is a chain. The interior was so gorgeous, I assumed it was stuffy and pretentious, but the servers quickly dissolved that concern. They were very eager to please, and were very fun. They even got along with the toddler at the party. I came for a birthday party of 30+ attendees, and was very pleased with the private area they prepared for us. The birthday ladies said the planning took a bit more effort than they hoped, but I was very impressed as an attendee. I think the staff and management are still getting the hang of things. The salad was fresh and full of yummy toppings, but a bit too much dressing. The pasta was super tasty, and actually cooked al dente.

I am so bummed that the new Bravo! restaurant at Briarwood is a chain! It pains most Yelpin' foodies to throw 5 big ones to a chain restaurant but on all scores, Bravo! legitimately made the grade. Our lunch was fantastic...Calamari Fritti, Grilled Balsamic Chicken Salad with a bunch of good things including strawberries and blueberries, Lobster Ravioli Alla Vodka...It was all very good. And Bravo's ambiance is comfortable, open and trendy. The service as well, was extraordinarily good. We received great suggestions from both the server and our server. Bravo!

Atmosphere here is pretty quiet considering how open the restaurant is. Beautiful on the inside. The staff seems pretty friendly all the way around. We had the mushroom bruschetta, which was to die for! Following that, our meals, which were also delicious. I'll be dining here again.

A five-star review for a chain restaurant is odd from me, but Bravo! really deserves it. For the prices of any full Olive Garden entree, Bravo dishes up made-from-scratch entrees with warm service and simplicity. The menu is the right size--lots of selection but not so much that fresh food would be impossible, and they do chain food Italian right. It's not pretentious or hokey, and you get that old school Mobster Italian class with none of the pressure or finicky airs. When we walked into the restaurant and saw there was a wait, right away I worried that our 7:45 reservation wouldn't be honored, as is typical during busy nights at a restaurant. But I was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away, and the front of the house manager took time to explain the menu to us. Most surprisingly, he let us know that the kitchen was a scratch kitchen, and so long as they had the ingredients on hand, they could whip up just about anything we requested. Plus one, especially for my vegetarian friend who often needs to adjust her meal to suit her dietary needs. They offer gluten-free and vegetarian options. My crab and shrimp cakes were absolutely perfect. Equal parts sweet crab and chunks of tender shrimp, not overly breadcrumb-y, and served with a horseradish aioli, they were tasty and the portion was fantastic. Big enough to satisfy, for sure. The crispy potatoes were perfect and the vegetables weren't just steamed, but slightly roasted which was a nice touch to step up the dish from typical chain fare. My friend proclaimed her sangria was the best she'd ever had, and my other friend dubbed his cucumber, basil, and gin gimlet "really delicious." The service was fantastic, despite the restaurant being newly opened and quite busy. I wish I could remember our server's name, shame. An excellent Italian option for families with kids and those who want to avoid the downtown Ann Arbor rush (and prices.)

I'm very fussy when it comes to Italian food. I grew up with an Italian stepfather. This food was excellent. We had the chicken scallopinii and the flat bread. Both were great, portion size was big enough for my daughter & I to share and go away full. My grandson had the child chicken Parmesan. He's a big eater, usually orders adult portions. He took home left overs. He loved it. My only regret is that I hadn't tried this restaurant before now. Better than little Italy in NYC.

We visited Bravo for the first time today - Memorial Day 2015. We were seated promptly and our server showed up right away. My daughter and I split both the Mediterranean Grilled Vegetable Salad and the Pasta Primavera. They were delicious! I should have asked for just one more piece of bread to soak up the sauce in the bottom of the pasta bowl. My husband ordered lasagna, and he said he would order it again. That is high praise from him. We will definitely be back.

I still have mixed feelings about this place. If I go a few more times, I wouldn't be surprised if I numbed my review up to 4 stars. However, I was a little disappointed with my first experience. The good: The atmosphere was really nice. It was loud and busy, which I like, and it felt higher scale than say an Olive Garden (what I primarily compared this place to). Our waitress was friendly and mostly knowledgeable of the menu. The best thing to say about this place is how well-staffed they were. There were said lot of employees walking around and our food arrived very promptly. The bad: No one in my party was thrilled by their food. I was so disappointed. I had high hopes because everything about the place up until the food arrived had pleased me. My general complaint was that everything tasted cheap, especially for the price. I ordered the Pasta Di Avola (or something like that) and it tasted like someone poured a can of spicy tomato sauce into a Mac & Cheese TV dinner. They had gluten-free and whole grain pasta options which was nice, but I think I would have been more satisfied at Olive Garden. Overall, the food wasn't BAD, but the atmosphere and menu prices led me to expect much better food, and everything was below my expectations. Some dishes other parties sitting around us ordered looked pretty good, so maybe everyone in my group just ordered the wrong thing. Again, I'm going to try this place out a few more times and I'm opened to updating my review, but this is how I felt after one night.

Good experience. We visited this location the other day, the food was good, but the service is what will keep us coming back. Our server (Gabby I believe was her name) was very efficient and friendly. Good service will always bring customers back. I did almost remove a star because there was not draft beer-if they do not upgrade that aspect of the bar I will remove a star in the near future.

Went here on a recent Saturday night. Place reservations online on their website for 7:15 and we showed up at 7 p.m. and we were seated by 7:20 which was not bad. It's an open seating setup so the noise level was pretty loud but not so much you couldn't hear your table mates. The menu has the usual suspect for an Italian chain place. The food was good although I thought the prices were on the high side for everything being ala carte. The meal comes with nothing other than the bread/olive oil at the beginning. If you want to add soup or salad it is an extra $3.99. The soup was hot and tasty but serving size was a bit on the small size especially for $3.99! The service was excellent. Prompt and polite, the service comes from many different people along with your main waiter. It's a nice place and I think they will do well at Briarwood.

How can Bravo screw up salad? Easy, by charging an obscene amount of money for iceberg lettuce. Over priced Glob- that's what Bravo serves. Great service, beautiful decor but no heart. Good food is what makes a place truly remarkable.

Overall, I really liked this place. They just opened and have wait staff and managers all over the place. Staff was very attentive (maybe a little too attentive at times). Food was absolutely delicious. There was a mix-up with our order, and one person's food didn't come out with the rest of the table's. Four different people came to apologize, they comped that entree, and gave us free dessert, so no complaints here!

We waited an hour for a table but we were able to shop and a text was sent when our table was ready. From the beginning we had a few problems, ordered a white wine and was given a red, ordered fries to keep our kids happy right when we sat down and they never came. After about an hour of waiting for our food and asking what was causing the wait the manager came over and apologized. They gave us our entire meal on the house, 7 people with drinks! I thought the apologies we received and having our bill taken care of was very professional and I would absolutely give them another chance.

Seriously the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time- And I am not that picky! Crazy long wait time for the food which was mediocre at best. Went on a Tuesday night about 7pm, got there before my guest, and wanted to wait, but the young man at the counter told me to sit in the bar the gentleman who took me to my booth apologized for his coworker's rude behavior. The bar area was very noisy and the tables are close to the booths a large drunk party spilled their drinks on me and were being obnoxious, but management didn't help. After my guest arrived we ordered Caesar salad and Chicken & Pesto Spaghetti. Had to send the salad back as it was nothing but yellow lettuce with little dressing and ground Parmesan cheese. Entree was little better under cooked spaghetti with little sauce that didn't appear to contain pesto. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and didn't charge us for the salads. Not that great of a restaurant even for a chain, and I will not be back.

I placed a "To Go" order and while this location doesn't have the conveniency of "Car Side To Go" that the Livonia branch offers, they do suggest/allow you to park directly in front of the door so that you only have to walk a few feet to grab your order. I also like that you don't have to walk half-way through the restaurant to the bar area to pick up your carry out. They ring you up right there in the front. The hostess was friendly when I entered. The food was ready within 2 min. They rang me up efficiently and I was out quickly. The food was delicious. The noodles were cooked al dente; which is really important to me. I ordered the chicken Milanese, children's ravioli, and I had a coupon for a free desert so I selected the bread pudding. All the food was prepared well, all the accompaniments were included. Overall I had a positive take out experience and would definitely return in the future.

OK. I know this is a chain restaurant and I expect it to taste like chain restaurant food. Based on that knowledge. The food, was, well... chain food quality. No better, but no worse. What got me was the service. I would think a corporate, chain restaurant would put it's employees through appropriate training to make sure they were effecient, FRIENDLY and couteous. Don't people that works for big chains like this do TEAM TRAINING anymore??? So, I ate at this Bravo! location tonight. The fettucini-chicken- Woozie-thing dish was as expected-meaning it tastes like it came out of a Ragu can. Edible for sure, but nothing to write home about. What really got me was the bartender. I ate by myself at the bar and the bar tender was most unfriendly. Not my fault she hates her job. If you are going to service mediocre food, it should be compensated by friendly service. As a traveler, I often have to dine at chain restaurants. Since this is located near hotels and, assumably, a large part of the clientel are travelers, they should at least make this cookie cutter restaurant minimaly appealing and welcoming from a service standpoint. Bravo was certainly No Bueno.
I've been to other locations of this chain and this one was not that great for a few reasons: 1) the server we had was not clued in - I ordered a Gimlet and she said, "Pinot Grigio?", and she walked by our table many times after we ordered and our salads finally came 25 minutes later with the entrees quickly behind, and she charged my friend's credit card twice even though we spelled out in ink on the bill the total amounts to charge each (*more on this later). 2) the chopped salad is one of my favorite items on the menu and it was not up to the same quality as the Lansing and Livonia locations - the vegetables looked hacked at instead of chopped and the usual balance of veggies and dressing was off. 3) *my friend found the extra charge on her bank statement - the server made no mention of having charged her card twice and refunding anything and never brought the extra charge slip for my friend's records. Further, when she called the manager, he was dismissive, saying the charge would come off in a couple days and to call back if it didn't. No apology or mention that he should re-train his servers to inform a guest that they need to present charge error slips to guests and be up front about problems. I was looking forward to having another place to pop in for happy hours with my colleagues on my way home but I question the quality of service and food at this newly opened location after this first-time experience. This is when everyone should be on their A-game, trying to get people to come back. The quality may go downhill if someone experienced and professional who cares doesn't step up and clean up the present act. On positive notes, the hosts were pleasant and efficient, the Gimlet was good, the wine list is nice, and the eggplant Parm was tasty.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

New and really nice. My wife got a Cesar salad and the mamas lasagna, which was huge. I got the Pasta Woozie and it was a lot less food. Both of our meals were good but a little over priced for average Italian food. All in all nice place for a date night.

The crispy shrimp napoli was so good and the chopped salad was light and delicious- I haven't even had my main course yet and I'm giving this place 5 stars!

Bravo!
(5)Antonio V.
Atmosphere here is pretty quiet considering how open the restaurant is. Beautiful on the inside. The staff seems pretty friendly all the way around. We had the mushroom bruschetta, which was to die for! Following that, our meals, which were also delicious. I'll be dining here again.

Overall it is a good restaurant. I was satisfied with the food and the waitress. The dessert was wonderful, but the attitude of the usher.......

(3)Melanie H.

(4)Molly H.
(5)Nicholas B.
My wife and I went here for a casual meal on a Saturday afternoon. We both ordered the Broiled Tilapia with spicy tomato sauce...it was very good. Service was better than average and we were taken care of. Wish that the servers were more educated on the ingredients comprising the dish. No matter, I give 4 stars. (Be sure to ask about the ingredients in the dishes if you have any allergies, i.e, many of the dishes have cream in them, so please be wary of the menu's descriptions and proactive about asking questions).
(4)Melissa P.
Seriously the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time- And I am not that picky! Crazy long wait time for the food which was mediocre at best. Two of our orders were wrong when they finally did arrive- one of which was a special order because of a food allergy!! Then waited forever to get them changed and not a word of apology was uttered. There are just so many other options - we won't be back.

Food was good (except for the children's pizza which was pretty awful) service was good and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be returning.

I would rate this restaurant 3.5. My husband and I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. I was able to make reservations online, which was pretty awesome. Note: I am not sure if they even read the special requests that you can enter on the online reservation form. I had requested a booth, but we did not get one. The restaurant was not even half full. Not a big deal as our table turned out to be fine. We both thought the ambiance was very nice and pretty cozy. Anyway, on to the food. We ordered the artichoke and spinach dip which came with flatbread. Yum! The bread that came was also very good and I loved the dipping oil. For the entrée, I ordered the Mama's Lasagna, which I had been looking forward to for a while after other people had raved about it. I thought it was quite good, though the alfredo sauce was disappointing (watery and lacked flavor; I wanted it to be richer). Other than that, though, I enjoyed it. The portion was huge and I was able to save almost half of it for later. In that sense the meal was a good value, but overall, I felt like I paid a lot for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and a glass of wine... for a lunch. I am a bit of a cheapo, so not sure I will be returning. Maybe! If you aren't cheap like me, I think it's a good choice, especially if you are in the Briarwood Mall area and don't want to go downtown.

Two of our orders were wrong when they finally did arrive- one of which was a special order because of a food allergy!! Then waited forever to get them changed and not a word of apology was uttered. There are just so many other options - we won't be back.

Food was good (except for the children's pizza which was pretty awful) service was good and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be returning.

Kiara (the waitress) was great..the food, not so much. Food doesn't match the description.
